The National Policy on Education ( 1986) as accorded very high priority to the programme of Vocationalisation of Education Vocational Education is distinct stream to prepare student for identified occupations spanning several areas of activity . It provide meaningful linkages between the world of work and world of education.

MAIN OBJECTIVES
1) To Provide the diversificastion of educational opportunities soas to enhance indivisual employability .
2) To reduce the mismatch between the demand & supply of skilled manpower in all the sectors.
3) To provide an altenative for those persuing higher education.
4) Engage them in any of the specific areas such as Engineering, Commerce, Agriculture, Home Science, Para-medical, Fisheries etc, and impart them essential occupational Skills & Knowledge to make them competent to join world of work.
5) To meet the skilled man-power requirement of the business & industry.

- BIFOCAL - +2 Level Vocational Education
- MCVC - Centrally sponsored +2 Level Minimum Competency Based Vocational Courses
- Certificate Courses - Run by M.S.Vocational Educational Board of Examinations.
