About Us

With a View to empower woman, Govt. of Maharashtra established 15 ITI in Maharashtra  for providing vocational education for the girls student to get them, employment & self employment opportunities. In ITI Girls Nashik is one of those fifteen ITI established in 1985. Since then, vocational education has been provided to thousands of girls to become self reliant.

The Institute is situated in the heart of the Nashik City on Old Agra Road. Nashik itself is known for its Agriculture religious & cultural activites, & also emerged as developing industrial Hub. As the city is situated near Mumbai, it has tremendous growth in Industry, which has provided employment two Lacs of People in Nashik. The Institute is providing trained craftsman to the growing Industry.

The Instituted is situated on Old Agra Road at the Prime location of Trimbak Naka. C.B.S. & New Nashik walking distance from the Insitute, The Nashik Road Railway Station is 8 km from the Institute, the Buses to Railway Station are available after every 15 Minutes.
In & Round the institute we are surrounded by may Govat. Offices Like Adivasi Bhavan, Incometax Office, LIC, Different Office.

Intake Capacity Of Hostel

We have girls seeking admission from rural areas of  Nashik and its essential. Girls to provide Accomadation. Admistrative approval has already sanction for the Hostel of 96 student. The construction which is likely to be started soon. From next academic session i.e. August 2009, the Hostel Facilites will be available for the students.

COE IN ELECTRONICS SECTOR
      
                As per the Institute development plan the institute will start CoE in Electronics sector from Aug2009-10
                     Centers of Excellence-Broad guidelines for implementation of the scheme For sector “Electronics”
 
TRAINING PART

                           These Centres will be providing multi skill training to meet the skill requirement of particular sector of industry with their active involvement in all aspects of training. The training will be provided in three parts as given below:

  1. Training in Basic skill areas for a period of one year.
  2. Training in Advanced modules for next six months.
  3. Training in specialised modules modules.

TESTING & CERTIFICATION PART

        The testing & certification for the Basic skill training during first year & also for advanced training during next six months will be conducted by NCVT.

        Training in specialized modules mainly in the industry (The course curricula, duration etc.will be designed in consultations with the IMC/local industry. The trade testing & certification for this component will be done jointly by the State Government & Industry. Said certificate will be recognized by NCVT.

Admission Criteria

a)Centre of Excellences

Broad Based Basic Training Modules

  • 10th pass under 10+2 system with Science as one of the subject

  • Admission on meritt basis

Completed BBBT in Electronics sector    
          OR
NTC/NAC in Electronics Mechanic ,RTVor any other relevant Trade          
           OR
Diploma in Electronics Admission on meritt basis.

b) Conventional Trades
      Admission to ITI is given strictly on merit basis government of Maharashtra has framed the Rules of Admission wide G.R. No. ITI-1002/Pra.kra-51/VE-2 Dated 30th         April 2002.. As per rules there is a reservation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/NT/and OBC. There is also reservation for physically handicapped, students passing with SSC technical, children /wards of project affected person and ex/in-service defence personnel. Admission forms are accepted within period of 10 days in respective ITIs after the declaration of SSC results.
    Admission on meritt basis.

Artisen to Technocrate


OBJECTIVES:

  1. To provide opportunity to Artisans from unorganized and informal sector for certification of their skill level  by skill testing.
  2. To introduce vocational diploma & degree Education for  Artisans so as to develop them up to Technocrat level.
  3. To provide opportunity of vertical  mobility i.e. vocational diploma & degree Education.

Skill Testing :

FEATURES

In unorganized sector lot of skilled persons are working but they don’t possess certificate of skills.  ITI(GIRLS) is the recognise  Skill testing centre for Hotel & Catering , Dress Making , Painter

  1.  Six skill levels are defined i.e. Artisan, Senior Artisan,  Craftsman,  
     Master Craftsman, Technician  &  Technocrat.
  2.  Skill testing centers are developed in ITIs
  3.  Skill test is conducted every month
  4.  27th 28th  & 29th are the fixed dates for skill testing
  5.  Certification- jointly by Local Industrial Association  & DVET.
  1. Skill Testing fees -      Level I        – Rs-500/-, Level II      - Rs-600/-  , Level III     - Rs-700/-
     Vocational Diploma  Fashion Technology
  1. Fees                                -    Rs.300 per month
  2.  Seats                              -    25 per course
  3.  Exam fees                      -    RS.1000/-
  4.  Duration                         - Two years part time daily 5 pm to 8.30 pm

Technical Education
                        For the year 2008-09 , 15 candidate are register for the first semister & 13 candidate are register for the third semister.

2)MES Courses
OBJECTIVES:

  1. to provide vocational training to school leavers, existing workers, ITI graduates, etc. to improve their employability by optimally utilizing the infrastructure available in Govt., private institutions and the Industry.  Existing skills of the persons can also be tested and certified under this scheme.
  1. to build capacity in the area of development of competency standards, course curricula, learning material and assessment standards in the country.

Training Fee
     Following training fee which includes cost of material, honorarium, etc. has been       
     prescribed:

  1. Rs.500 per module for modules having duration upto 90 hrs.
  2. Rs.1000 per module for modules having duration from 91 to 180 hrs.
  3. Rs.1500 per module for modules having duration from 181 hrs to 270 hrs.
  4. Rs.2000 per module for modules having duration more than 270 hrs.
  5.  

Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and women will be given relaxation of 25% in fee.  In order to motivate trainees to take the training programme seriously, training fees of all those trainees who successfully complete the training would be refunded to them.

Certificate
      Successful persons will be awarded certificates issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
