About Us
Govt. of Maharashtra established Industrial Training Institute in each Taluka of Maharashtra for providing vocational education for the Rural student to get them, employment & self employment opportunities. ITI Newasa is established in 1999vide GR No. Higher & Technical Education Depatrment No.1089/(1110)/VE-2A, Dated 15 Feb. 1999. Since then, vocational education has been provided to more than hundreds of youth to become them self reliant.
The Institute is situated at Newasa Phata. (Pune-Aurangabad Highway) Newasa itself is known for its Agriculture religious. Newasa north latitude 19°- 34 ' and East 75° , 55 Kilometers north-east of Ahmadnagar, is a Taluka head-quarters.Newasa have Historical & Mythological Background; Saint Dnyaneswar was told here The World-Famous Novel “Dnyaneshwari”; in 12th century. Today Available that ‘PAIS’ piller which was witness of both Novel “Dnyaneshwari”. Also a very old “Hemadpanthi” Temple of Lord Vishnu called “Mohiniraj” is situated in the centre of the town.
As the city is situated at Centre of Ahmednagar & Aurangabad the fast growing Industrial cities & the bank of Pravara river it has tremendous growth in Agriculture, The Institute is providing trained craftsman to the growing Industry.

The Instituted is situated Behind Govt. Rural Hospital on Ahmednagar-Aurangabad road called Newasa Phata. Bus Stand of Newasa city is 6 km from the Institute, the Buses to available after every 15 Minutes.

As per the Institute development plan the institute will start Upgradation of Trades from Aug2008-09.
Conventional Trades
Admission to ITI is given strictly on merit basis government of Maharashtra has framed the Rules of Admission wide G.R. No. ITI-1002/Pra.kra-51/VE-2 Dated 30th April 2002.. As per rules there is a reservation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/NT/and OBC. There is also reservation for physically handicapped, students passing with SSC technical, children /wards of project affected person and ex/in-service defence personnel. Admission forms are accepted within period of 10 days in respective ITIs after the declaration of SSC results.

Best Practices In ITI
1)MES Courses
OBJECTIVES:
- To provide vocational training to school leavers, existing workers, ITI graduates, etc. to improve their employability by optimally utilizing the infrastructure available in Govt., private institutions and the Industry. Existing skills of the persons can also be tested and certified under this scheme.
- To build capacity in the area of development of competency standards, course curricula, learning material and assessment standards in the country.
Training Fee
Following training fee which includes cost of material, honorarium, etc. has been
prescribed:
- Rs.500 per module for modules having duration upto 90 hrs.
- Rs.1000 per module for modules having duration from 91 to 180 hrs.
- Rs.1500 per module for modules having duration from 181 hrs to 270 hrs.
- Rs.2000 per module for modules having duration more than 270 hrs.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and women will be given relaxation of 25% in fee. In order to motivate trainees to take the training programme seriously, training fees of all those trainees who successfully complete the training would be refunded to them.
Certificate
Successful persons will be awarded certificates issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
