I.T.I., Gadchiroli is a government organization, established in August 1981 as per Govt. G. R. No. TSP 1081(BD)/2632/U.O/XIV, Mantralaya, Mumbai Dt.-07/08/1981 to create new paradigm in industrial training
and make young generation of Vidarbha region compatible with new working trends in industrial development in country.

         Presently I.T.I. Gadchiroli  in Gadchiroli District, Nagpur Division, (Maharashtra State, India.) with 26 various 
Trades Excluding CoE (Construction & Wood  working Sector).This Institute is very well known as Trible ITI with
huge intake capcity of 732 Seats.

Structure of IMC


The IMC comprises of upto 11 Members where one member will be nominated by Central Government and not more
than five members by States/UTs and not more than five members including the Chairman by the Industry
Associations namely CII/FICCI/ASSOCHAM.


Role of IMC


The IMC will generate revenue through various means such as projects and financial contribution from industry
including donation of equipment and using of such funds/eauipment as decide by them; Forecasting of new emerging
training areas;Develoment of curriculum;Selection of trainees;Facilltating on the jo0b training to the trainees;Testing
and certification;and,facilitating placemne of passing out trainees.

Concept of Centre of Excellence :-


                             CoE is Special Scheme in the Institute. There are Six Units Called Basic Module and Three Advance
Module. Basic Module has duration of One year, and Advance Module has duration of Six Month with Six Month On
Job Training / Apprentice
                           Centre of excellence is special institute for vocational training characterizes d by close links
between institutes, other training provider, industry, other employment interests and communities. It aims to produce
appropriately qualified and skilled workers, with excellent employment and career prospects which meet the needs
of the Industry.
                           Centre of excellence will focus on enhancing the skills of careers of those already in work, enhancing
the employability of new entrants to the labour  market and the employment prospects of those seeking employment
(Including self employment)
