NON FO RMAL VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMME

Objective of the Scheme are

In the process of economic development, the businessman of Industries require different types of skilled/trained-manpower. Under the aegis of Directorate of Vocational Education & Directorate of Training formal education is imparted in ITI , +2 level Vocational Education Scheme and also in pre-Vocation Education Scheme. & skilled/trained manpower is generated regularly. However these schemes demand some min. educational standard for admission. On the other hand there is large man-power which is desirous to under-go some sort Vocational Training to earn their Bread & Butter therefore, the Govt. have decided to arrange informal Vocational Training to this group, using the existing infrastructural facilities , those have already been created to run the above mentioned schemes.

Govt. sanctioned 62 Centre in ITI's and 62 Centre in Government Technical High Schools to arrange informal vocational training. The Regional Dy. Directors are empowered to select suitable courses depending upon the local needs .

The below given courses are started in ITIs are of 3 months duration based on 100% practicals. The exam is conducted and certificates are awarded by the principal of respective ITI.

· Motor Driving · Scooter Motor Cycle repair · Gas Welding
· Repair to Electrical Motor Appliances · Tailoring & Cutting · Pump Mech.
· Three Wheeler Mech. · Bamboo cane work · Photography
· Services of Domestic Appliances · Welding & Jointing · Irrigation Pump Mech.
· House Pipe Fitting

The below given courses started in Technical High School are of 6th months duration. The exam. is conducted by M.S Vocational Education & Examination Board & the certificates are also awarded by the board ( The admission rules of Board are applicable to this scheme.)

· Wireman · Welder
· Computer Operator · Commercial Painter
· D.T.P. · Ref&Air Conditioning
· Brick-Layer of Plasterer · Pump & Electrical Motor Repair
· Fees for computer course is Rs. 100/- p.m & for other courses is Rs. 25/- p.m.
· Deposit Rs 100/- ( Refundable)
