Inward-Outward Department (Registry Department)

  • To register correspondence from all government/non-government/ITI/GTHS under the jurisdiction of the Directorate in Maharashtra and send it to the subject-wise office.
  • To register all correspondence passing through the Directorate.
  • To issue correspondence using speed post/registered and other similar facilities as required.
  • Subject-wise registration of mail arriving at the Directorate by hand delivery by providing receipt.
  • All stamps used in issuing mail should be properly utilized and their value recorded in a register and verified by the Desk Officer/Supervisory Officer every month.
  • Preparing paper envelopes required for all correspondence and postage to be issued.
  • Compile and maintain a digital copy or CD of the annual record of all outgoing and incoming mail.
  • Court cases should be registered separately with the notice of Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal and the notice of Labor Court and distributed to the concerned office on the same day.
  • To make arrangements to record all correspondence between the Directorate and the Ministry separately and deliver it on the same day.
  • Right to Information cases should be recorded in a separate register and distributed immediately.
  • Take a printout of the incoming and outgoing postal correspondence in the Directorate every month, get it certified by the concerned office officer and maintain a record of its year-wise.
  • Regarding the ticket required by the Registration Department/Speed ​​Post payment amount. Review from time to time, submit the demand and complete the action in this regard.
  • Keeping a proper account of stamps received from the post office.
