Objectives

Magel Tyala Vyavsay Prakshishan :Industrial and Economical liberalization policy is adopted in India. Indian companies are facing tough competition with the foreign Multi National companies. The public as well as private sector is going through large-scale recession. This lead to unemployment problem and gave rise to great unrest and frustration among the educated unemployed. ITI Passouts are facing severe unemployment problem. The only solution is self-employment. To reduce the burden of unemployment among the youth from scheduled caste, Vimukta Jati, Nomadic Tribes and Special Backward class community, Government of Maharashtra introduced the scheme named MAGEL TYALA VYAVSAY PRASHIKSHAN from July 2003. Under the scheme, the unemployed candidate from above mentioned categories are given training in various employment and self-employment oriented Short-Term courses without the burden of training fees on them.

To reduce the burden of unemployment among the youth from Scheduled Caste, Vimukta Jati, Nomadic Tribes and Special Backward Class community, Government of Maharashtra introduced the scheme named MAGEL TYALA VYAVSAY PRASHIKSHAN from July 2003.

Under this Scheme, the unemployed candidate from above mentioned categories are given training in various Employment and Self – Employment oriented Short-Term courses without the burden of training fees on them.

Implementaion of this scheme has been abandoned from Year 2013-14.

Financial Provision made by the Government for the Scheme

  • Rs. 5.00 crores for Schedule Caste candidates.
  • Rs. 1.05 crores for Vimukta Jati, Nomadic Tribes and Special Backward Class community,
