State Stores Procurement Management

  • Purchase of machinery and tools, furniture
  • Machinery undocumented cases
  • Maintenance of government vehicles
  • Machinery transfer cases etc.
  • Taking action regarding advertisement of tender and gazette.
  • Preparation of tender documents.
  • Maintaining records of the inventory of machinery, equipment and furniture in the Directorate and informing the relevant office in the Directorate.
  • Materials and supplies required for the Directorate.
  • To inspect the machinery and equipment in the institution and the offices under the jurisdiction of the Directorate.
  • To constitute the necessary scrutiny committee and technical committee regarding the procurement and to prepare and submit the comparative tables prepared by them.
  • Procurement of new project management (e.g. World Bank and occasional projects)
  • To record the security deposit (EMD) and other amounts collected from the supplier and take all necessary action regarding it.
  • Making complete arrangements for meetings on work-related matters.
  • All matters related to the Right to Information Act 2005.
  • Handling information related to the proceedings of the Legislative Session.
  • All matters related to Lokayukta/State Information Commission matters.
  • Submitting proposals to the government for administrative approval in procurement matters.
