Matters related to the establishment of non-government aided and unaided employees

  • Appointments, compassionate appointments, probationary period special pay, leave sanction etc.
  • Departmental inquiries, complaints, decision-making on employee appeals, complaints regarding provident fund, wage fixation.
  • Inter-departmental transfers/ departmental transfers, waiver of service breaks, sanction of medical payments, adjustment of redundant employees, retirement pay matters.
  • Regarding approval of time-bound promotion of teaching staff to senior/selection category and non-teaching staff.
  • Reviewing the positions of aided institutions.
  • Preparing service entry rules and seeking government approval.

  • State Training Policy related matters (all officers/employees/teachers/non-teaching staff)
  • To collect information about backward class employees in all non-government funded institutions under the Directorate and prepare its data.
  • To take action to check the caste validity certificate of all backward class employees in all non-government funded institutions under the jurisdiction of the Directorate and to take note of the caste validity certificate if it has been submitted and maintain the records.
  • To take appropriate action to avoid delay in promotion of backward class employees in all non-government funded institutions under the Directorate and to ensure that they are properly promoted or get other government benefits.
  • To update and certify the point list of employees of all cadres in Group C and D in all non-government funded institutions under the Directorate.
  • Handling of promotions/retirements/transfers/grievances of Backward Class employees.
  • To issue instructions regarding establishment of divisional/district level/backward class cells in all offices under the jurisdiction of all non-governmental aided institutions under the jurisdiction of the Directorate and to control these cells and solve the problems of backward class employees.
  • To check whether all the posts reserved for Backward Class employees in all the offices under the Directorate in all the non-governmental aided institutions are filled properly and as per the prescribed rules. Necessary action to be taken to fill vacant posts
  • All matters related to Lokayukta/State Information Commission matters
  • Making complete arrangements for meetings related to the work.
  • Handling all academic affairs of technical education courses at secondary level.
  • Administrative matters of government and non-government technical schools.
  • Observation Training Program.
  • Correspondence on secondary and higher secondary education, Activities of the certificate course implemented by the Maharashtra State Examination Board, Granting permission for administrative matters related to government and non-government organizations, Curriculum Development, Recognizing and allowing admission to pre-vocational courses, Minimum skills based vocational education etc.
  • NIOS /PASSIVE Business Education related activities.
  • Proceedings regarding transfer/migration of non-governmental institutions/courses.
  • Departmental transfer of students.
  • Central assistance grant.
  • A.B.C.D. E. Classification.
  • Proposals/approvals regarding recognition in non-governmental organizations at +2 level. Proceedings regarding service entry, rules, organization of +2 level vocational courses/higher secondary courses.
  • All matters related to Central Government/Passive Bhopal.
  • Hearing and taking action on unauthorized entry.Taking action to close down institutions with less than 50% enrollment. Changing the name of organizations. Publishing advertisements/information booklets for starting non-governmental organizations. To start new private educational institutions on a permanent non-grant basis and to take action to approve new businesses/additional units/changes in businesses, etc. in existing private educational institutions.
  • Training etc. of officers/employees and directors.
  • Obtaining affiliation of the Director General, New Delhi, to the A.P. Institutes/Centres, and planning inspection programs.
  • Organizing various meetings.
  • To certify the equivalence of the specified profession.
  • Handling of service entry rules/service-related matters for employees of private sector organizations, Fixing fees of private educational institutions. Proposal for migration of private educational institutions. Taking action regarding change in name of the organization, cancellation of recognition of the organization. Correspondence regarding the demands of the private sector organizations.
